Best AI for supply chain courses for operations professionals in 2026: 14 compared
Vendor facts checked · 14 optionsThe short answer
AI for supply chain courses fall into four groups: short AI overviews on Coursera, Udemy and Simplilearn; supply chain certifications such as ASCM CSCP and MITx MicroMasters; live short courses (Georgia Tech, Sydney, CILT); and Indian executive programmes. Choose by AI plus operations maths, graded practice, time and price; Bodhih pairs both with graded labs and a capstone.
AI for supply chain courses now range from a free two-hour video course to an eleven-month executive programme. Most AI-for-supply-chain courses teach prompting and use cases with no forecasting, inventory or OEE maths; most supply chain certifications teach the maths with little hands-on AI. For a planner, buyer, plant or warehouse manager, the useful questions are: does the course teach the operations maths, do you check AI output against data, do you practise decisions rather than watch, how long does it take, and what credential do you get.
Every fact below was taken from the page listed with each entry on 6 November 2026. Where a price was a subscription, a promotion or from a listing site rather than the provider, we describe how it is priced instead of quoting a figure. Prices change, so confirm before you enrol.
How we built this list
- Included: online, live or blended courses and certifications on AI in supply chain or on supply chain management, on sale today and open to individuals or companies.
- Checked for each: whether it teaches operations maths (forecast accuracy, inventory, flow), hands-on practice, the role of AI, length and format, price and credential, as stated on the page listed.
- Left out: anything we could not find on the page listed, ratings and enrolment counts, and courses whose content the provider did not describe.
- Order: Bodhih’s course is ours, so it is listed first and labelled. The rest are alphabetical by provider. This is a shortlist with facts, not a ranking.
Disclosure: Bodhih publishes this guide and sells the product marked “Our product”. We receive nothing from the other providers listed, and links to them are not affiliate links.

How to choose
Which AI for supply chain course fits you?
Start with what you need the course to do for you, then compare within the matching row.
| If you need… | Look at |
|---|---|
| A supply chain designation or a path to a master’s | ASCM CSCP; MITx MicroMasters |
| Your team to use and check AI on daily operations work | A practice-based course: Bodhih |
| Live faculty and fixed dates | Georgia Tech; University of Sydney; CILT |
| An Indian executive programme | IIM Mumbai (Masai); IIM Kozhikode (Jaro); IIM Calcutta (Emeritus) |
| Graduate credit | Old Dominion University |
| A free or low-cost first look | Simplilearn; Udemy; the Coursera courses |
Check whether the course teaches the maths as well as the AI
An AI tool can recommend a lower safety stock or a new forecast in seconds. Whether that recommendation is safe depends on the service target, the demand history it used (orders, not shipments during a stock-out), the lead time and the variability of the item. Ask whether you calculate forecast accuracy and bias, safety stock, OTIF and OEE yourself, and whether any exercise has you check an AI answer against the data.
Check how you will practise, and how controls are taught
Operations work is decisions under time pressure with incomplete data. Ask whether the course lets you practise an S&OP call or a supplier disruption, and whether it covers supplier bank-change fraud, split purchase orders, data rules for AI tools and the permissions an operations agent should have.
Questions people ask next
What is the best AI course for supply chain professionals?
It depends on what you need. For a designation, ASCM CSCP or MITx MicroMasters; for live faculty, Georgia Tech or the University of Sydney; for an Indian executive programme, the IIM options; for a team that must use and check AI on daily work, a practice-based course such as Bodhih’s, which pairs AI with graded operations maths.
Is an AI for supply chain course the same as CSCP or CPIM preparation?
No. CSCP and CPIM cover ASCM’s body of knowledge for an exam. Most AI for supply chain courses, Bodhih’s included, are not exam preparation; they teach how to use AI tools on supply chain work. Check what the course says about any outside certification before you enrol.
Do I need coding to learn AI for supply chain?
Not for most of the courses here. The Coursera, Udemy and Simplilearn courses and Bodhih’s course need no coding. IIM Calcutta’s programme uses Python and R, and IIM Kozhikode’s uses R.
How much does an AI for supply chain course cost?
Among the options here, prices range from free (Simplilearn) and Coursera subscriptions, to ₹7,999 plus GST for Bodhih’s self-paced course, US$1,500 for Georgia Tech’s three-day course, about US$8,000 for Old Dominion’s graduate certificate and ₹4,15,000 plus GST for IIM Calcutta’s 11-month programme.
