Trainers buy ready-made material for three reasons: to run a workshop next week, to stock a catalogue of programmes, or to give staff self-paced eLearning. Editable classroom packs (slides, facilitator guide, participant workbook, activities) serve the first two; eLearning libraries serve the third. The licence decides whether you can rebrand, how many trainers may use it, and whether you may deliver it to paying clients.

Read the licence before you buy
Licences differ more than content. Check four things:
- Can you edit and rebrand the files?
- How many trainers may use them, and for how long (one-time or annual)?
- May you deliver the material to paying external clients, or only inside your organisation?
- Is a facilitator guide included, or only slides?

Where can I buy editable training materials?

What should a training materials pack include?
At minimum a facilitator guide, slides and a participant workbook; better packs add activities, case studies, assessments, an evaluation form and a certificate.
Can I deliver bought training materials to my own clients?
Only if the licence allows it. Several providers limit use to your own organisation and forbid resale. Read the terms, and ask the provider in writing if you train external clients.
