In short
Bodhih Training Solutions Private Limited, Bengaluru, collects the data needed to run your account, your purchases and your learning: who you are, what you bought, what you studied and how you scored. We do not sell personal data. If your employer gave you access, your employer can see your progress and results. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to our Grievance Officer at solutions@bodhih.com.
Who we are
This policy covers bodhih.org and the Bodhih LMS, run by Bodhih Training Solutions Private Limited, 963, 2nd Floor, 3rd Cross, 1st Block, HRBR Layout, Bengaluru 560043, India. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules.
When a company runs its own training on the Bodhih LMS, that company decides what its people are asked to do and what is collected about them. For that data we act on the company’s instructions, and the company’s own privacy notice also applies.

| Account | Name, email, phone, password (stored hashed), company and role | To give you access and support |

| Voice recordings (Workplace English) | Short recordings you make in speaking exercises, with their scores and transcript | To score how easily you are understood. Practice recordings are deleted once scored; diagnostic and checkpoint recordings are kept so results can be checked |
| Enquiries and chat | What you write in the contact form or chat, and your contact details | To reply and follow up |
| Technical | IP address, browser, device, pages visited, cookies | Security, keeping you signed in, and, where enabled, analytics |
How we use it
We use personal data only to:
- provide your account, courses, assessments, credentials and purchases;
- measure learning before and after a programme, which is how our courses work;
- send service messages such as receipts, access links and reminders, and, if you agree, occasional news you can unsubscribe from;
- keep the platform secure, prevent misuse and investigate assessment misconduct;
- meet legal duties, including tax and accounting records.
Who can see your data
Your employer, if it gave you access through the Bodhih LMS: its administrators and trainers can see your enrolments, progress, scores and submitted work for the training they assigned.
Anyone with your credential link: a verification page shows your name, the credential and its date. It is reachable only through the link you share.
Reviewers: people at Bodhih who grade portfolios, capstones and vivas see the work you submit.
Service providers that process data for us under contract: payment processing (Razorpay; Stripe where used), hosting and databases (Vercel, Railway, Supabase), file storage and delivery (Cloudflare, Microsoft Azure), speech scoring for Workplace English (Microsoft Azure AI Speech), transactional email (Brevo), assessments delivered through our sister company AssessAll, our customer relationship and chat system, and Google Analytics where it is switched on. Course authors use an AI drafting tool (Anthropic) to write content.
Authorities, when the law requires it. We never sell personal data or share it for others’ advertising.
Where it is stored and how long we keep it
Some providers store or process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on contracts that require them to protect it, and we follow any restrictions the Government of India notifies.
We keep account and learning records while your account is active and for as long as needed to verify credentials you have been awarded. Invoices and payment records are kept for the period tax law requires. Practice voice recordings are deleted once scored. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise the rest, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, or withdraw consent you gave, subject to records we must keep by law;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or cannot act;
- resolve a complaint through our Grievance Officer, and if you are not satisfied, approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
bodhih.org is meant for adults at work. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, access inside Bodhih is limited to people who need it, and administrative actions are recorded in an audit log. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Cookies
We use cookies needed to sign you in and keep the site working. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits; you can block them in your browser without losing access to the platform.
