Set a weekly appointment with yourself and leave the session with a plan that has buffers, rewards and room to bend.
Weekly plans often fail because they are rigid, long or boring to make. A shorter ritual, with buffers and rewards built in, tends to be easier to repeat. This deck gives you that ritual and the planner to go with it.

This is a ready-to-use, editable PowerPoint deck of about 50 slides on weekly planning for ADHD and executive function. It sets out a four-step foundation, a five-step planning routine of under 45 minutes, a four-section weekly planner and a task chunking tracker. It suits adults with ADHD, students, coaches and team leads.
The opening slides explain what executive functions are, the neurotypical planning trap and why a straight line suits ADHD brains poorly. Chapter 1 then lays a four-step foundation: choose your 'CEO of My Week' time (Sunday afternoon, Monday morning or Friday after work), craft a planning sanctuary with sensory support, select visual and flexible tools and do a brain dump before you plan.
Chapter 2 covers structure: visual time anchors, a gentle and elastic schedule built on anchor points, stimulus-aware prompts, timeboxing with buffers and task chunking with built-in rewards, including a worked example of chunking a work report. Chapter 3 is the routine, designed to finish in under 45 minutes: brain dump, prioritise (the classic matrix or a simpler Must Do, Should Do, Could Do option), timebox, schedule flex time and rewards, and a two-minute daily review.
The template slides give you the ADHD-Friendly Weekly Planner in four sections (weekly focus and priorities, scheduled blocks with buffers, a reward schedule and notes with daily adjustments) and a Task Chunking Tracker. Chapter 4 handles four hurdles, such as 'my plan is ruined' and time blindness, and chapter 5 closes with a one-change action plan.
