A gentler way to track walking and low-impact fitness, with simple logs, qualitative check-ins and a five-step plan.
Tracking helps, but strict targets can make people give up after one off day. If you coach others or write about wellness, you need a way to track that rewards effort and not just totals. This deck is built around that idea.

This is a ready-to-use, editable PowerPoint deck of about 51 slides on tracking movement without perfectionism. It covers qualitative progress, a weekly movement log, a Wins of the Week approach, common hurdles and a five-step action plan. It suits walkers, coaches, wellness leads and creators. It is educational, not medical advice.
The deck begins by questioning the tyranny of the perfect number and proposes quality-of-movement measures. It introduces the Walk With Ease philosophy, a Move More challenge in which many kinds of activity count, and a short guide to low-impact options such as yoga and Pilates.
Chapter 3 is the heart of the deck. It describes a simplified mobility score that combines walking speed and step count, then moves to qualitative progress such as energy and mood, and a four-pillar wellbeing snapshot that needs no numbers. A Weekly Movement Log template records date, activity, duration, intensity and a how-I-felt score from 1 to 5, and a vignette shows a Wins of the Week approach.
Chapters 4 and 5 give routines (Morning Mobility Boost, Afternoon Energy Recharge, Evening Wind-Down), roles for wellness creators and consumers, and three hurdles: lack of time, low motivation and fear of injury. Chapter 7 is a five-step plan: assess your current mobility, set progress-not-perfection goals, choose a tracking method, schedule your movement and celebrate wins.

Present chapter 1 and the qualitative slides, then give out the weekly log as a handout.
Use the Wins of the Week approach and four pillars to review a client's week without focusing on missed targets.
Work through the five-step plan, choose a tracking method and restart with a small short-term goal.
Download the deck, open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, and start with the log on slide 15. Then work through the five steps from slide 38.
