You already feel the problem. Here is what it is costing you.
You do not know where to start
Estate planning feels like one huge, sad task with no first step. So it waits, year after year, in a folder that holds a leaflet and a parking permit.
Your will may not control what you think
Nominations, beneficiary forms and joint ownership can send money somewhere your will never mentions. Many people only learn this when it is too late to fix.
Lawyer meetings feel expensive and rushed
Without preparation, the paid hour goes on facts you could have gathered at home, and the real questions get squeezed into the last ten minutes.
Families fill the silence with guesses
Unsaid funeral wishes, unexplained gifts and executors nobody knew about are where many family disputes begin.
Picture the next few weeks with the kit open beside you.
Picture a Sunday afternoon a few weeks from now. The tea is still warm, and the folder on the table is no longer empty. As you open the workbook and look at the Dashboard, you can see everything you own, how each item will pass on and the two flags still to clear.
Imagine walking into your lawyer's office with your notes already printed: your family, your assets, your decisions, your questions in priority order. You notice how quickly the facts are done and how much of the hour is left for real advice.
Think of the evening you send your executor a short, warm message and a briefing sheet, and the reply that comes back: thank you for making this easy. Whether you begin with the wishes summary tonight or the inventory on Saturday, each session leaves something finished behind.
And one day, years from now, someone you love opens a folder in the middle of a hard week and finds your words, your wishes and a clear list of who to call. You will have looked after them, quietly, in advance.

There are four honest reasons, and naming them helps. The first is size. "Sort out my estate" is not a task, it is a project with no edges, and the brain quietly files it under later. The second is emotion. Thinking about your own death, or about choosing between your children, is uncomfortable, and discomfort is the most reliable procrastination engine we have. The third is uncertainty: you suspect you need a lawyer, you do not know which kind, and you do not know what they will ask. The fourth is the feeling that you need all the answers before you start, when in fact the answers arrive as you work. Each of these has a practical fix. Size shrinks when the job is cut into sessions of 45 to 90 minutes with a named output.
The honest comparison

| Legal honesty | Fill-in-the-blank 'wills' | Preparation notes and letters; legal documents left to professionals |

| Words | Nothing on letters or conversations | Letters guide, ethical will, 36 scripts and a family agreement |

Final Wishes and Estate Preparation Kit: FAQs
Read the free guideAlready bought? Resend my linkIs this kit a will or legal document?
No. Nothing in the kit is a will, power of attorney or advance directive, and nothing should be signed as one. It is educational, not legal, financial, tax or medical advice. It prepares you to work with a qualified lawyer, notary or adviser where you live, which usually makes that work quicker and clearer.
Does it work outside the UK and US?
Yes. The method and tools work in any country and currency. The dated country notes cover India, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, the UAE, Singapore, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria as examples, and every chapter tells you which questions to take to a local professional.
What is the first step in estate planning?
List what you own and owe, with how each item is owned. That inventory drives every later decision. The Inventory sheet in the workbook takes about an hour for a first rough version.
Does a will cover everything I own?
Often not. Nominations, beneficiary designations, jointly owned property and trusts can pass assets outside the will, and the rules differ by country. The kit shows you how to check every route and what to ask your lawyer.
How do I choose an executor?
Look for someone honest, organised, available and calm with your family, and name a backup. Ask them first, give them time, and brief them in writing. The People Register sheet and the briefing sheets walk you through it.
How do I talk to my parents about their will?
Start small and respect their control. Many people begin by asking a parent for help with their own plan. The scripts file includes openings for a reluctant parent, ways to offer practical help and messages for coordinating with siblings.
Where should I keep passwords for my digital legacy?
Not in a will or any document in this kit. The kit shows how to use a password manager's emergency access feature and the legacy settings many online services provide, and how to record only that they exist.
How can I measure my starting point?
Before you sign anything, you can measure your starting point with AssessAll assessments such as Everyday Agreements Assessment: Reading What You Are About to Sign, Money Decision Judgment and Decision-Making Under Uncertainty. Links are on the Start-here map.
How do I turn this into a plan I finish?
Use the six-week calendar or task board, and if you want a goal-setting method, read the Jobulary guide on the WOOP method to turn it into a development plan you actually reach. A link is on the Start-here map.
Can I get a refund?
Digital kits are non-refundable once downloaded, except for corrupted files not fixed within 3 working days, duplicate charges or failed delivery. If anything does not open, write to us and we will fix it.
How much does Final Wishes and Estate Preparation Kit cost?
₹1,299 including 18% GST for buyers in India, or $34 for buyers outside India. One-time payment, no subscription, with an automatic invoice.
How do I get the files after paying?
Instantly. Your download page opens the moment payment succeeds, and a permanent download link is emailed to you. Download each file separately or everything in one ZIP.
What software do I need?
Any of the usual tools: Excel or Google Sheets for spreadsheets, Word or Google Docs for templates, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview, Xodo or GoodNotes for the fillable PDFs, and Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar for the calendar plan.
Can my company buy this for a team?
Yes. Team and company licences, and workshops on this topic run by Bodhih Training, are available. Write to solutions@bodhih.com or call +91 99000 11601.
