Build a question bank with answer-hiding views, mastery formulas and tags, and review it on a schedule.
Testing yourself is the habit most revision advice recommends, and the hardest to set up. A question bank has to be designed, filtered and kept current. This deck shows the design in a few clear steps, so you can build or teach it quickly.

This is a ready-to-use, editable PowerPoint of 51 slides on building a question bank in Notion. It covers a six-step build, essential properties, a Practice Mode view that hides answers, a mastery formula, tags and calendar scheduling. It suits students, exam tutors and anyone teaching active recall.
The deck opens with why traditional preparation fails: overwhelm, cramming and no spaced review. It then makes the case for a shift from passive reading to active recall, and introduces Notion as a hub. Chapter 3 explains the principle and shows a popular community exam tracker template, with student comments, as an example of what a clean overview looks like.
Chapter 4 is the build. You define the goal and subjects, create the database, add properties such as Question, Answer, Subject, Difficulty, Source, Date Created and Status, add questions from your notes, then use views for recall: a To Study view filtered by status, and a Practice Mode view with the Answer property hidden so the database works as a quiz. Step 6 adds an optional Percentage Mastered formula.
Chapter 5 compares two template styles, a Lazy Student Method layout that focuses on high-yield content and an Ambivert layout with solo and group modes, then shows calendar integration and tag-based categorisation by topic. Chapter 6 gives a checklist, best practices such as adding a few questions each session, a section on spaced repetition, and a Q&A. A short slide shows how a question bank can serve product knowledge for a solo business.

Build the database with the group and let each person write five questions from their own notes, then run the Practice Mode view.
Use the Ambivert slides to agree who adds questions, how to tag them and when to meet to quiz each other.
Add a handful of questions per session and open the To Study view each morning.
Download the deck instantly, open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, and edit the slides for your own subjects. Start at the Chapter 4 steps and have a working database in under an hour.
