Map Courses, Notes, Assignments and Resources into one connected system that is ready for exam week.
Notes that sit in separate apps and folders turn revision into a search. Planning a note system and then teaching it takes time you may not have. This deck gives you the database design and the setup steps already laid out.

This is a ready-to-use, editable PowerPoint of 51 slides on designing a class notes database in Notion. It maps four connected databases, explains relations and rollups, adds a dashboard with template buttons, and covers Cornell notes, exam views and flashcards. It suits students and study-skills trainers.
Chapter 1 asks you to plan before you build. A short set of questions about your courses and the information you track leads to a four-database map: Courses as the central hub, with Notes, Assignments and Resources linked back to it. Chapter 2 then gives each database its purpose and properties, with a different view for each: Gallery for Courses, Table for Notes, Board for Assignments, List for Resources.
Chapter 3 is about connecting them. You add a Relation property, open a course page to see its linked notes, and use Rollups to count notes per course. Chapter 4 builds the dashboard: design principles, a two-column layout, Template Buttons that create pre-filled entries in one click, and a linked Due Soon view filtered to the next seven days.
Chapter 5 turns to exam preparation. It shows the Cornell note-taking layout inside a Notion page, a Days Until Due formula, filtered notes views for each subject, and a flashcard design with the question as the title and the answer in a toggle. Chapter 6 gives a ten-step setup checklist, three template spotlights with a comparison table, and a short action plan.

Use chapters 1 to 3 to build the four databases live, then run the flashcard slides as a hands-on exercise.
Show the database map and the three template spotlights so students can choose a build or a ready-made starting point.
Follow the ten-step checklist and the Day 1 to Day 3 action plan to be set up in a single focused session.
Download the deck instantly, open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, and edit it for your own courses. Slide 40 has the checklist to follow once you have read the map.
