The deck begins with the overwhelmed-mind problem and the four pillars of a second brain: capture, organise, retrieve and maintain. Chapter 1 defines metadata as data about data and tags as a flexible keyword system, then shows how they work together like catalogue cards and subject labels in a library.
Chapter 2 is the step-by-step set-up: define core PARA categories, set up databases, design metadata properties such as Name, Created Time, Last Edited Time, Status, Type and Source, craft the tagging system with Select for one primary attribute and Multi-select for cross-cutting topics, and link databases with relations.
Chapter 3 gives three examples, student projects, solopreneur client management and personal knowledge management, each with a database table of key fields. Chapter 4 adds quick capture, AI-assisted retrieval, custom views, formulas and a database map. Chapter 5 provides a six-step checklist, template spotlights and habits for daily and weekly upkeep.
