Use a single PARA Type property to power Projects, Areas, Resources and Archives without duplicating data.
Every new note raises the same question: which database does this go in? The deck shows a way to answer once. You get the architecture and the slides to explain it.

This is a ready-to-use, editable PowerPoint deck of 51 slides on building PARA in Notion. It shows the master database approach with a PARA Type property, four filtered views, three worked examples, relations and formulas. It suits solopreneurs, students and creatives who want a simple, low-maintenance structure.
The first chapters explain the second brain idea and PARA as an organising framework based on how actionable information is right now, rather than what type it is. The Projects, Areas, Resources and Archives layers are shown as one system.
Chapter 3 is the architecture. Instead of four databases, you create one master database with a PARA Type select property, then add supporting fields such as Status, Due Date, Tags, Priority and Last Edited. Chapter 4 designs a view for each category: a Kanban board for Projects, a gallery for Areas, a table for Resources and a simple list for Archives.
Chapter 5 shows three examples, a student, a solopreneur and a creative. Chapter 6 adds relations between databases, formulas for progress and overdue flags and quick capture template buttons. Chapter 7 ends with a setup checklist and a 30-minute quick start.

Present chapter 3 and have learners build the master database live, then add the four views in chapter 4.
Use the business hub example to map a client's current projects, areas and resources into PARA Type values.
Follow the 30-minute quick start on slide 45 and keep perfection for later.
Download the deck instantly, open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, and edit the examples to fit your work. Slide 44 is the setup checklist to follow first.

Yes. It is a standard .pptx file with editable text, shapes and tables, so you can change wording, colours and order and add your own examples. It opens in PowerPoint and Keynote, and you can upload it to Google Drive to open in Google Slides. Layouts can shift slightly if a font is missing, so check the slides before presenting. These are independent guides about building such systems, not official Notion material and not affiliated with Notion.
This deck is part of Notion Second-Brain Templates, ten decks sold singly for INR 99 (USD 1.49) or together for INR 599 (USD 7.99). The others are: Archive Systems That Stay Clean; Capture Inbox Templates; Designing a Second Brain Dashboard; Notion AI for Knowledge Work; Project-to-Knowledge Linking; Reading and Learning Vaults; Review Dashboards and Filters; Second-Brain Setup for Teams; Tagging and Metadata Standards.
Both. The chapter slides present well in a session, and the step-by-step slides and checklists work as a self-study guide.
The deck argues it avoids duplication: one database, many views, with the PARA Type property deciding where an entry appears. It describes this as lower maintenance.
No. The formulas appear late, in chapter 6, as optional extras. Chapters 3 and 4 work with properties and views only.
