How do I create a signature coaching or training programme?
Start with the change you can honestly promise, for whom, with observable signs. Turn your method into three to six named steps, lay out the weeks with an assignment after every session, design each session around practice, then choose one format and price it on value. The Signature Programme Builder from Bodhih Training gives you the files for each step.

You already feel the problem. Here is what it is costing you.
The same hour, sold again and again
You explain the same ideas to client after client, one invoice at a time. Your diary has a ceiling and your method lives only in your head.
A blank document and a deadline
Someone asks whether you have a programme for their team. You say yes, then stare at an empty page wondering where to start: the content, the price or the slides.
Too much content, too little change
First programmes often turn into lecture series. Sixty slides, two exercises, and participants who enjoyed it but cannot say what they now do differently.
Quiet drop-off and a vague answer to 'did it work?'
Participants go quiet in week four and you notice too late. At the end, a buyer asks for evidence and all you have is a satisfaction score.
Picture the next few weeks with the kit open beside you.
Picture the next time someone asks, 'Do you have a programme for this?' Instead of a blank page, you open the Programme Design Canvas and read back a promise you have already tested with five people in your target group, in words they recognise.
As you fill in the Session Plan sheet, notice how the workbook adds up the minutes, checks them against each session's length and shows how much of the time is practice. Whether you start with the canvas tonight or the economics calculator tomorrow morning, each decision feeds the next one.
Imagine week four of your first cohort. It is Friday afternoon, you open the Dashboard for fifteen minutes, see the two participants flagged on the Roster, and send each a personal message from the library before the weekend. Both have a route back, and you know about it while it still matters.
And when the cohort ends, the evaluation is already planned. You type the feedback into the Evaluation sheet, hold a sixty-minute retrospective, log three changes, and start the next run with a better programme rather than a new one.

A programme changes three numbers: how many people you serve per hour of your time, how much each person pays, and how much time you spend preparing rather than delivering. One-to-one work is simple: one hour, one fee, little preparation once you are experienced. A programme front-loads the effort. You spend weeks building it, then each run costs you live hours, preparation, admin and some direct costs such as a platform, materials or a venue. Open the Cohort-Economics-and-Capacity-Calculator. On the Format Compare sheet, the sample rows compare six ways Farah could deliver the same content: a one-to-one package, a small group, a cohort, a hybrid cohort with one-to-ones, a self-paced core with live calls, and an in-house cohort for one company. For each, the sheet works out revenue per run, fees, total hours including preparation and admin, contribution after direct costs, and contribution per hour of your time. It then ranks them.
The honest comparison
| Free templates and typical advice | This kit | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | Start with content or slides | Start with a tested transformation promise and observable signs of change |
| Your method | A catchy acronym and borrowed diagrams | Three to six named steps built from your own practice, with ideas you build on credited |
| Session design | A slide deck per session | One page per session with a five-part arc, timing checks and the practice share calculated |
| Money | Price by guesswork | A calculator comparing six formats on contribution per hour, break-even, a price finder and capacity |
| Running the cohort | Hope everyone keeps up | A weekly rhythm, a roster with alerts, an engagement log and 48 messages for every moment |
| Evaluation | A satisfaction form at the end | Four levels planned from the start, a cohort retrospective and an improvement log |
| Rules | Testimonials collected any way that works | Consent to exact words, nothing offered in return, and dated notes on rules in five markets |

The Signature Programme Builder: FAQs
Read the free guideAlready bought? Resend my linkWhat is a signature programme?
A signature programme is a fixed, repeatable programme of 6 to 16 weeks built on your own named method. It promises a specific change for a specific group, runs with practice between sessions, has fixed modules and materials, and improves each time it runs because you measure it.
How long should a coaching or training programme be?
Most signature programmes run 6 to 16 weeks. Shorter rarely leaves enough time to practise between sessions; longer needs strong reasons to keep people engaged. The kit helps you set the participant's weekly commitment first and fit the content into it.
How do I turn one-to-one coaching into a group programme?
Look for repetition, a shared starting point, value in peers and a method you can describe. Then write the promise, name your framework, lay out the weeks and choose a format. The calculator compares one-to-one, small group, cohort, hybrid, self-paced with live calls and in-house formats on contribution per hour of your time.
Does the kit tell me what to charge?
No. Prices are yours to set. The kit shows you how to price the whole programme on value, and its calculator shows break-even, the price needed at each cohort size and your hours. For pricing strategy in depth, see The Retainer and Pricing System. Check tax and consumer rules with your accountant.
Can I use testimonials to promote my programme?
Often yes, within the rules. Ask only after the programme ends, get written consent to the exact words, never change the meaning and never offer anything in return. Some professional bodies restrict testimonials, and consumer rules differ by country: the kit's dated notes summarise the US, UK, EU, India and Australia as at October 2026.
Is this legal, tax or clinical advice?
No. The kit is educational. The agreement is a discussion sheet for your lawyer, money content is for discussion with your accountant, and counsellors and therapists should follow their regulator and professional body on clinical practice, confidentiality and records. The kit covers programme design and administration only.
Where do I start, and how do I measure my starting point?
Start with the Start Here map and page 1 of the design canvas. To measure your starting point as a programme designer, AssessAll offers matched assessments (separate products): Instructional Design Work Sample for Trainers, Instructional Designers and Subject-Matter Experts, Lesson Design and Questioning Technique Assessment for Teachers and Trainers, and Training Evaluation and Programme Effectiveness Assessment for L&D and HR Teams.
How do I turn what I learn into a development plan?
If you want to grow your own design or facilitation skills, or those of associate facilitators who will deliver your programme, a Jobulary development plan can turn the gaps you find into a structured plan. See how a Jobulary development plan works at jobulary.com.
Which software do I need?
The workbooks open in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice and use no macros. The forms are fillable in Acrobat Reader and most PDF apps, the templates open in Word or Google Docs, the calendar imports into Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar, and the CSV imports into Trello, Asana, Notion, Planner or Jira.
What is the refund policy?
Digital kits are non-refundable once downloaded. The exceptions are corrupted files that are not fixed within 3 working days, duplicate charges, or failed delivery.
How much does The Signature Programme Builder cost?
₹1,299 including 18% GST for buyers in India, or $34 for buyers outside India. One-time payment, no subscription, with an automatic invoice.
How do I get the files after paying?
Instantly. Your download page opens the moment payment succeeds, and a permanent download link is emailed to you. Download each file separately or everything in one ZIP.
What software do I need?
Any of the usual tools: Excel or Google Sheets for spreadsheets, Word or Google Docs for templates, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview, Xodo or GoodNotes for the fillable PDFs, and Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar for the calendar plan.
Can I get a refund?
Because it is a digital download, kits are not refundable once downloaded. We always refund a duplicate charge or a failed delivery, and if a file is corrupted and we cannot fix it within 3 working days. Full terms: bodhih.org/refunds.
Can my company buy this for a team?
Yes. Team and company licences, and workshops on this topic run by Bodhih Training, are available. Write to solutions@bodhih.com or call +91 99000 11601.
