Walk to Strong is a complete, gentle-start programme for busy adults: a clear method in the e-book, and tools that tell you what to do today, add up your week against the 150-minute guideline and show you when to move up a level.
Walk to Strong · Bodhih Pro Kits · 32 by Bodhih Training, trainers to 2,000+ companies since 2008.
Start with six short walks of 10 to 20 minutes and two brief strength sessions a week, then add roughly 10 to 15 walking minutes each week until you pass 150, with an easier week every fourth. The Walk to Strong kit from Bodhih Training gives you that plan with trackers, session cards and an 84-day calendar.

Day one is a hero session, day two you can't manage the stairs, and by Friday the shoes are back in the cupboard. The problem was never your willpower. It was a starting point set for the person you used to be.
Plenty of steps, same puff on the stairs. Without knowing how hard you're working, and without any strength work, your body has no reason to adapt.
Which exercises, how many, how often, and when do you make them harder? A random video gives you a sweaty half hour. It doesn't give you a plan for Wednesday.
Rain, a work trip, a festival, a cold. Most plans have no answer for real life, so a missed week quietly becomes a missed year.
A blank habit grid can't tell you whether you met the guideline, whether you're ready to level up, or where to resume after eleven days off. You end up with data and no direction.
Picture a Monday morning three weeks from now. Your calendar says: easy walk 15 minutes, then Strength A. You don't have to decide anything, because you already did. You warm up for five minutes, work through the card on the fridge, tick the day in the tracker and notice the streak counter move to fifteen.
By week five, as you open the Strength Log after a session, the Next step column says 'Level up next session' beside your wall push-ups. You didn't have to guess. You move your hands to the kitchen counter, go back to eight reps and feel the difference straight away.
Then a week falls apart, as weeks do. Instead of quitting, you pull out your Plan B planner, do the Ten and Two before breakfast and let the tracker count it as a day kept. When you're ready, the Restart Calculator tells you which week to resume and how much to do.
And on a Saturday near the end, you walk for an hour and realise it's just a walk. You repeat the four snapshots from the first Sunday and write the new numbers beside the old ones. Whatever they show, you'll know exactly how you got there, and what to do in week thirteen.
The e-book shows you how. The tools make it happen. Here is exactly what you download.

Each chapter opens with a real situation, gives you a method and ends with something to do today, using the tools in your kit.
Safety questions, four baseline snapshots and a reason specific enough to survive a wet Wednesday.
What the WHO, NHS and CDC actually recommend, and how the plan turns 150 minutes and two strength days into a week.
The talk test and the 0 to 10 effort scale, calibrated in a single 12-minute walk.
The week-by-week walking progression, four kinds of walk and the small technique fixes that keep shins happy.
Squat, hinge, push, pull, carry and brace at three levels, described clearly with stick-figure diagrams.
How the six movements become three short sessions, with warm-up, cool-down, sets and reps for each phase.
Progressive overload in plain words and the 8 to 12 rule for knowing when to move up.
Traffic lights for telling normal muscle ache from pain that means stop, and why rest is training.
If-then plans, the Ten and Two minimum-dose day and what to do in each kind of disruption.
Sensible step goals, a five-minute weekly review and exact rules for restarting after a gap or illness.
Every outcome is practised with a worked example and a tool, not just described.
People who measure before and after improve faster and can show it. AssessAll, our sister assessment platform, has AI-graded assessments that pair with this kit. Take one now, work through the kit, then re-take it.
First, brisk walking counts. You don't need to run. Moderate intensity means your breathing and heart rate are up but you could still hold a conversation. A purposeful walk does that for most adults. Second, strength is half the recommendation, not an optional extra. Many keen walkers do plenty of minutes and no strength work at all. Muscle is what gets you out of chairs, up stairs and off the floor, and it needs to be asked to work or it quietly declines with age. Third, less than the target still counts. The CDC puts it bluntly: some physical activity is better than none. The NHS notes that even a brisk ten-minute daily walk has health benefits and counts towards your 150 minutes. The guidelines are a destination, not an entrance exam.

No. Walk to Strong is educational content, not medical advice, and it cannot assess you. Please check with your doctor before starting if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, an injury, are pregnant or recently gave birth, take medication that affects your heart rate or balance, or have not exercised for a long time. The kit includes a self-check sheet to help you decide.
We make no weight-loss promises and no before-and-after claims. The plan is designed to build capacity: walking further with less effort and getting stronger in everyday movements. Weight and waist columns in the tracker are optional and can be left blank. For food and weight questions, please speak to a doctor or registered dietitian.
A sensible start is 10 to 20 minutes on most days at a pace where you can talk but not sing. Public guidance from the WHO, NHS and CDC points towards at least 150 minutes of moderate activity a week, and this plan builds up to that gradually by week 7 rather than demanding it on day one.
Comfortable shoes, a sturdy chair, a wall, a kitchen counter, a backpack with some books, two shopping bags and one inexpensive resistance band. There are no machines and no gym visits. The e-book explains what to use if you don't have a band yet.
The kit includes four simple physical snapshots you repeat every four weeks. If you also want to measure the planning and resilience side, AssessAll offers the Plan Strength Assessment with an Eight-Week Re-Measure, Resilience & Stress Management, and the Work Strain and Recovery Self-Check at assessall.com. They pair well with the baseline in this kit.
Chapter 9 teaches if-then planning, and the Plan B planner turns it into a page for your wall. For a wider personal development plan, Jobulary has a practical guide to if-then plans that make habits stick at jobulary.com, which you can use to carry the same technique into work goals.
Yes. The workbook uses standard formulas that work in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice and Numbers, with no macros. On a phone it's easiest to fill in the Daily Log and read the Dashboard; set-up is more comfortable on a laptop.
Yes. In the tracker you enter your own start date as year, month and day and every date updates. In your calendar app you can import the file and move events, or simply follow the day numbers. The CSV version lets you load the plan into any app with your own dates.
That's expected, and there's a chapter for it. Up to three days missed, carry on. Longer gaps mean stepping back about a week for each week missed and restarting at a lower dose. The Restart Calculator in the workbook does the arithmetic, and after illness we suggest checking with your doctor if symptoms linger.
