What is White-label LMS?
Also called: White-labelled LMS · Branded LMS · Private-label LMSDefinition
A white-label LMS is a learning management system that can be rebranded completely so it appears to be the buyer’s own platform. The buyer sets its own logo, colours, login page, email templates and custom domain, such as learn.yourcompany.com, and the vendor’s branding is removed or minimised. Training companies use white-label LMSs to deliver courses to clients under their own brand, and corporates use them so internal academies look like part of the company rather than third-party software.
White-labelling usually covers the visual layer (logo, colours, fonts, favicon), the address (a custom domain with its own SSL certificate), communications (emails sent from your domain with your wording) and certificates (your name and signatories). Fuller white-labelling also covers mobile apps, help content and the removal of “powered by” notices.
For training companies and consultancies, a white-label LMS turns delivery into a branded product: each client can get its own portal, and the provider can sell e-learning, blended programmes and certifications without building software. For corporates, branding raises trust and makes the academy feel internal. Combined with multi-tenancy, one contract can serve many branded portals. Bodhih LMS offers your branding and custom domain from its Launch band, with branches and sub-portals so reseller clients each get their own address, look and admins.
Common mistakes: accepting a vendor subdomain when clients expect your own domain; forgetting email and certificate branding; and not checking contract terms on who owns learner data and how to export it if you change vendor.

An example at work
A Jaipur soft-skills training firm runs a white-label LMS at learn.itsbrand.in. Each corporate client gets a sub-portal with the client’s logo, where participants complete pre-work and post-workshop assessments, and certificates carry the training firm’s name and signatory.

More about White-label LMS
What does white-label LMS mean?
It means the LMS can be rebranded so learners see your name, logo, colours and domain instead of the software vendor’s. The vendor supplies and runs the platform; you present it as your own learning portal to employees or clients.
Can a training company sell courses on a white-label LMS?
Yes. Many training companies use a white-label LMS to deliver courses and certifications to clients under their own brand, often giving each client its own portal. Check that the platform supports per-client portals, your own domain, branded certificates and invoicing if you sell directly.
