Day 2 is Respond and Document. They weigh the four treatment strategies and write a complete five-element mitigation plan, then design a risk register, construct KRIs with thresholds and set a monitoring cadence. The Ashdale Care Services case shows what early KRI-driven escalation can prevent, and the Halloran Advisory case shows the cost of 'accepting' a risk without proper approval.
They leave with a register of their own risks and a Risk Management Action Plan — and you'll notice how naturally 'what could go wrong?' becomes a planning habit rather than a worry.
