Your score target is not the number someone tells you. It is the strictest requirement of every organisation that will read your result, section by section, copied from their official pages. That sounds obvious, yet people often plan from a number they heard from a cousin, a forum or a recruiter. Requirements usually have more than one part. There is an overall score and there are minimums for each section. There is the test version (academic or general, at a test centre or at home, a standard version or one approved for a particular visa route). There is a rule about how old the result can be when it is assessed. Miss any one of these and the score you worked for may not be accepted.

Does it include real test questions?
No. It contains no real, leaked or 'recalled' questions, and it explains why you should avoid anyone who offers them. Practice comes from your test owner's official material plus our own templates and everyday topics.
How long should I prepare for an English test?
For most people studying alongside work or university, 8 to 12 weeks is a sensible length, set by the size of the gap your diagnostic shows and how predictable your weeks are. The calculator counts back from your deadline so you know the latest start date.
Can it tell me what score I will get?
No, and nobody can honestly promise a score. The workbook estimates an overall from your practice scores so you can see the trend, but only the official result counts.
Can I use this with my students or learners?

How do I measure my starting point before I begin?
Sit a timed official practice test as your diagnostic. How do I keep going when work or family takes over?
