How do you run school admissions from enquiry to enrolment?
Plan seats by grade, publish a fair admissions and fee policy, reply to every enquiry fast and listen first, give honest tours with safeguarding built in, decide by the policy and write the same day, onboard every family before day one and re-enrol early. The School Admissions and Enrolment Kit from Bodhih Training covers each step.

You already feel the problem. Here is what it is costing you.
Enquiries wait, families go elsewhere
Evening messages sit until Monday and calls are answered by whoever is nearest. By the time someone replies, the family has visited two other schools.
Nobody knows the real vacancies
The school is nearly full overall, but Pre-K needs thirty children and Grade 6 always loses families. Marketing says 'now enrolling' to everyone.
Decisions that are hard to explain
Criteria live in people's heads, waiting lists run first come first served, and a parent's question about fairness has no written answer.
Letters, fees and forms in a rush
Offer letters go out over a week, refund rules are unclear, and new families discover missing forms on the first morning.
Picture the next few weeks with the kit open beside you.
Imagine next Monday morning. You open the workbook and the Dashboard tells you, in twenty minutes, how many families are waiting for a reply, which enquiries are stuck, which grades still need children and which offers expire this week.
As you print the visitor poster and the front-desk card, the people who answer your phone know exactly what to say: ask, listen, answer fees in numbers and agree a next step with a date. When a family tours, they see a normal day, signed in and accompanied, and they get the answer to their question the next morning.
On offer day the letters are already written. Every decision follows the policy you published, waiting list positions calculate themselves, and every family hears the same day. When someone asks how a decision was made, you open the policy and show them.
Whether you start with the capacity plan tonight or the enquiry register tomorrow morning, each step makes the next one easier, and by the end of the season you have your own numbers to plan the next.

Ahmed, who runs admissions at a 900-student school in Dubai, used to give what he called "the best tour in the city". He walked families through the newly painted science lab, the trophy cabinet and the auditorium, and timed it so they passed the Grade 5 class just as the choir started singing. Families loved it. Then a parent who had enrolled the previous year told him, kindly, that the school was lovely but nothing like the tour. A tour is not a performance. Its job is to help a family decide whether this is the right place for their child, which means showing them a normal day, answering their real questions and being honest about what you do not offer. Families who choose you on that basis stay.

The School Admissions and Enrolment Kit: FAQs
Read the free guideAlready bought? Resend my linkCan I use this with my staff?
Yes. The personal licence covers use within your own institution, including printing the posters and cards, branding the letters and forms, and training your own admissions and front-desk team. For a group of schools or several sites, ask about company and multi-site licences at solutions@bodhih.com.
Does it work in my country?
The method works anywhere: funnels, capacity, fair policies, honest tours and onboarding are universal, and the workbooks use any currency. The dated rules sheet covers India, the UK, the US, the UAE, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines and Kenya. Admissions, fee, tax, safeguarding and data rules still need checking locally, with your regulator and adviser.
How do I increase enrolment at my school without overselling?
Find the stage where families are lost, then fix that stage: usually slow first replies or no follow-up after a tour. Put fees and places where families see them, show a normal day on tours and ask current families for honest reviews. The workbook's Funnel and Source Analysis sheets show where to work.
What is a good enquiry-to-enrolment conversion rate?
There is no single right number: type of institution, fees, location and how you count enquiries change it. The kit has you measure each stage and set targets from your own first eight weeks, then compare by source and by grade.
Is this legal or safeguarding advice?
No. The kit is educational. Templates are starting points for your lawyer and accountant, the dated sheet names the rules to check, and nothing in the kit replaces a safeguarding policy reviewed by a qualified person and your local safeguarding authority.
Does it work for a preschool, a coaching centre or an online academy?
Yes. Grades can be rooms, classes or batches, the entry interaction can be a play session, a demo class or none, and the book covers onboarding for online learners. The sample school is a K-8 so that every tool has realistic rows.
How should we handle waiting lists fairly?
Order them by your published priority criteria and tie-break, not by date of joining, tell families their position and that it can move, and update them monthly. The Offers and Waitlist sheet calculates positions from your Priority Order sheet.
Where can we measure our starting point?
If you want an outside view of your team's judgement and questioning, AssessAll offers The Front Desk: Judgment When Everything Arrives at Once, Discovery & Questioning Skill and Personal Data Judgment. They are separate products, not part of this kit.
How do we make the new habits stick for the admissions team?
Turn each first-hour step into an if-then plan: 'If a message arrives after 18:00, then the holding reply goes out and I reply by 10:00.' Jobulary's guide to if-then plans at work (jobulary.com) shows how to turn this into a development plan.
Do I need special software?
No. Everything opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Word, Google Docs and a PDF reader, the calendar imports into Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar, and the task board imports into Trello, Asana, Notion, Planner or Jira.
How much does The School Admissions and Enrolment Kit cost?
₹999 including 18% GST for buyers in India, or $29 for buyers outside India. One-time payment, no subscription, with an automatic invoice.
How do I get the files after paying?
Instantly. Your download page opens the moment payment succeeds, and a permanent download link is emailed to you. Download each file separately or everything in one ZIP.
What software do I need?
Any of the usual tools: Excel or Google Sheets for spreadsheets, Word or Google Docs for templates, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview, Xodo or GoodNotes for the fillable PDFs, and Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar for the calendar plan.
Can I get a refund?
Because it is a digital download, kits are not refundable once downloaded. We always refund a duplicate charge or a failed delivery, and if a file is corrupted and we cannot fix it within 3 working days. Full terms: bodhih.org/refunds.
Can my company buy this for a team?
Yes. Team and company licences, and workshops on this topic run by Bodhih Training, are available. Write to solutions@bodhih.com or call +91 99000 11601.
